For Nursery, LKG and UKG, the daily experience matters more than an early-academics pitch. Look for:
- Teacher-to-child ratio in the actual classroom (ask to see it, not just the policy)
- How separation anxiety and settling-in are handled in the first weeks
- Balance between free play, structured activity and rest
- Outdoor space and how often it is actually used
- How the school communicates daily updates to parents
A preschool that focuses on worksheets over play at this age is optimising for the wrong outcome.
